Since 1992, Ms. McSorley has worked in various capacities for global securities/banking organizations, supporting BCP regionally and globally. Her positions have included working on BCP policies and standards, managing recovery during events, managing internal BCP consulting groups, development of alternate site strategies, and most recently, the management of the regional Deutsche Bank BCP program in the Americas. Ms. McSorley is the current Chairperson of the Contingency Planning Exchange. The CPE is a 400-member organization of contingency planners, which has existed for almost 20 years in the industry. She is also a member and speaker of numerous BCP Organizations: NY Clearing House- BCP Committee, Securities Industry Association- SIA, Disaster Recovery Journal- DRJ; and has volunteered at various government organizations - Federal Emergency Management Agency- FEMA to enhance BCP programs. |
