Professional Biography
David P. Fidler is associate professor of law at Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington. He is one of the world's leading experts oninternational law and infectious diseases. He is the author of many publications in legal and public health periodicals, and his books include International Law and Infectious Diseases (Oxford University Press, 1999) and International Law and Public Health: Materials on and Analysis of Global Health Jurisprudence (Transnational Publishers, Inc., 2000). He has served as an international legal consultant to the World Health Organization, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, U.S. Department of Defense, and the Federation of American Scientists.
