The Biosecurity Briefing is produced by the Center for Biosecurity, an independent, non-profit Center of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. All material transmitted via the Biosecurity Briefing is based on information that has been gathered and analyzed by the staff of the Center for Biosecurity. Information Sources: The staff of the Biosecurity Briefing gathers, reviews, and analyzes information and data from a wide variety of sources, including official, open-source government, non-government (NGO) and media reports. Operations and Editorial Processes: While the Biosecurity Briefing is created by the staff of the Center for Biosecurity of UPMC, it does not purport to advance any official positions of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. The Center for Biosecurity maintains editorial control of all material published in the Biosecurity Briefing (see Terms of Use for more information).
